PACS R8 Hot Dial Programming and Use.

One of the enhancements in PACS R8 is Hot Dial. This is a feature that allows you to dial from a phone without the need of lifting the handset or activating the speakerphone. The following will go over how to program and use the Hot Dial feature.
From the phone in which you would like to activate Hot Dial:
Press Feature o o
Press a Feature Button With Lights.
Press Feature Button then dial 26.
Some considerations:
The Hot Dial button must be programmed on a button with lights
The line on the Partner phone is determined by the phones Auto Lines select.
DO NOT program a Hot Dial button on a door phone.
How to Activate:
Press the programmed button on the phone.
The Hot Dial button will light green.
This button can be used to toggle Hot Dial on and off.
