Remote Overhead Paging

by DougR on Jun.12, 2008, under MultiTech

Remote Overhead Paging Solution requires only a few products to make an effective solution. If your system already supports VoIP your half way there, if not we can make it. The solution starts with a MultiTech MultiVoIP (MVP), an easy to use Analog to VoIP adapter.

  • First connect the amplifier of the page system to the MVP analog interface.
  • Then add the MVP to the PBX. If the PBX does not have IP resources, another MVP can convert the IP connection back to analog.
  • Next configure the system to page, or call, the MVP.

Now paging is possible where ever the IP connection can carry the singal.
