Synchronize Calls was introduced in 4.0+ with the addition of the Announcements Tab for Hunt Group. The theory behind this option is to conserve voicemail resources used for announcements while a caller is queued in a hunt group. Setting a Domain User as Local Admin

There are several applications that have to run as an administrator user but you don’t want to make that user an admin on the domain. This can be accomplished by adding a regular domain user as a local admin to the computer where the apps are going to run. Contact Closure Options - IP Office

Contact Closures on IP Office have 2 options, the external output (Ext O/P) jack on the actual control unit, or the Door Strike terminal on the Door Phone Controller. Both method provide a dry contact circuit controlled via a telephony interface. The Ext O/P jack controls the contacts via out-of-band shortcodes, meaning the user must access system dial tone and dial a short code. The Door Phone option requires that the door phone initiate a call and the call be answered prior to accessing control of the contacts.
Outbound Caller ID Explained
