Using ARS and UserRights

In 3.2 and older versions of IP Office, call restrictions could be made in System ShortCodes, User ShortCodes, Least Cost Route (LCR) tables, or in UserRights.  In the post 4.0 world ARS handles the process of matching all outbound call routes.  Here is a look at how to transition the restrictions based on ARS in 4.0+.

Outbound Caller ID Explained

PRI circuits allow the PBX to take control of outbound Caller ID (CLID) on most protocols (5ESS and NI2).  If the PRI provider is set to allow it, the IP Office facilitates this feature through several methods.  Each method may be better suited to a configuration based on the environment.  First lets review how IP Office sets these fields. (based on 4.0+)
