Since the Catalyst ConfigTool is build on Excel there are only certain versions that have been found to work without error. These versions are Excel 2003 Service Pak 3, Excel 2007 Service Pak 1/2 and Excel 2010 (32/64-bit versions). Sometimes you have issues with the Catalyst ConfigTool password not working when trying to download a new version.
